I am at Villafranco...I made the fairly flat 7 miles okay but knee is saying enough so tomorrow I'm catching the bus to Burgos. A couple from Oregon is also doing the bus so he scoped out where the bus stop is & that the first one of day is at 12:15 so will get there early enough to find a bed. Tonight's home is a hotel & albergue combined.

Passed more sunflower fields today!

Albergue is yellow bldg on right. My room has 12-15 single beds within open cubicles. Had a shower, rinsed out clothes, ate eggs & chorizo sausage with a glass of sangria!! I amazed and pleased at how inexpensive most food stuff is - 2.50 Euro for a large wine glass of sangria!
